The first clip I will be analysing is the trailer for FIFA 21 produced by EA Sports. The purpose of this trailer is to try entice the audience into purchasing the game which fully released on the 9th of October around the world. The audience for this product is people who are interested in football as it is a football game but also predominantly at younger males as they stereotypically are more likely to game and play football. The trailer begins with the cover star Kylian Mbappe in a zoom call with fellow PSG teammates to showcase to the audience that this a cooperative video game where you can play with friends. This will interest the audience as gaming is meant to be enjoyable with friends or by yourself.
