Music video proposal

BD- For this project we will be  be  creating a hybrid music video for the song: Thank God I'm a Country boy by John Denver. This music video is in the Country genre of music, with the purpose of this video being to promote the image of John Denver and Country music,  and also  entertain audiences. The target audience of this music video is all  all  genders, but specifically white / Hispanic Americans ages 18-54 and in the C2 as they make up  the majority of  the listenership. With John Denver being from America, we will be taking inspiration from American culture to help promote his identity. Moreover, as this song is an older one, we will be lowering the resolution on the camera, this is so the music video is more time appropriate. To boost this  idea  we will add a filter on top of the footage to give the idea of an older camera.   In terms of mine- en -scene, the actors in our music video will be young males dressed in western ...

Inspiration music videos

Fluorescent adolescent- The video links to the lyrics and has a variety of camera shots and angles. There is clowns in the video to show how messed up his childhood was. Supersonic- It contains a lot of effects such as noel fading in and out of the shot. There is also a lot of camera angles like high angle and low angle shots.  Call it what you want- The video is very original as it peculiar with a the video appearing to be all over the place. However, every image has a meaning and as a whole is a criticism of the music industry saying call the scenes what you want but it doesn't effect what the music really is. It is a performance video as it doesn't have a narrative.
